Default OT: New Civic SI in car and driver

The only good things I saw about the car was it has cool seats, shifter position, and should be able to swap in a Type-s engine. The biggest downside is that it weighs 2800lbs and should be slower than the Civic SI coupe of previous gen.

I think the torque will make up for the weight. Looks wise though. It looks UGLY.

I think it looks kinda nice, like a modern day hatchback... it looks way better with the type r kit though. Do they offer a hatchback without the si engine? It wouldnt make sense to pay for the 160hp engine to swap it out.

I guess Ill wait till I see one in person to reserve judgement on the looks.

The biggest problem is the WEIGHT! Why 2800lbs? The last 93 Si hatchback weighed what, 2300lbs? I dont see why/how the car is that much heavier.

That's what a lot of people said when the EK civics came out in 96, the same people are buying these cars in 2001

It has potential aesthetically, I think the Type R (body kit, wheels) is SWEEET
But as has been mentioned IT IS TOO DAMN HEAVY
