I currently have an s1 cable b16 tranny. All of my syncros are bad and I am in desperate need of some new ones. I don't have $600 to buy a used tranny right now so thats why i'm trying to go this route. Does anyone know where I could get syncros for my tranny? Thanks.

 

the dealer...... but dont expect it to be cheap it will probably be just as much as a used one

 

Dealer doesn't carry JDM B16 syncros. You have to either get them from a company that imports them, or from Japan.

Or you can get the new Hasport kit and buy a Hydro tranny.

I think that a full rebuild kit is $160.00 with all bearings and sync's...

I had a bad y1 (3rd realy sucked) after i switched from a Ls tranny, i got tired and went hydro.

 

...you will realize with time that changing the synchros alone won't cut it. Re-read your helm's manual.

Its not that bad labor wise once you get teh tranny out, but the sycros are like 450 bucks and u have to know some one in japan
