i have heard of people taking out there extra accesories like power steering, ac , ect. and using electric water pumps and such, and basically only running an alternater, what kind of hp gain does it give. where do you find the parts for it, any one done it what do you think about it, how much would it cost for a d. any pics, will it affect daily drivability. any input would be great

 

i am still running the standard water pump but nothing else...alt only like most people i assume. with unorthodox pulleys (lightened alt, lightened one belt crank) i saw a gain of 7hp. drivability unaffected.

 

well if u run just the alternator

then yes u should notice it being harder to move without the gas being used

just a bit

by besides that I love it

u do feel a difference
