NOt having all the of the mount I have heard can cause axles to break pre-maturely. Not having all the mounts has stopped me from completing my swap. Just my .02 cents

I needed the stock one from my b18c cause my d16z6 was too long. not sure if its the same for b16 but their both b series in eg si's.

you dont need 1 and 5 but its much better to have them. if you choose to not run them for some reason spend the couple bucks and buy prothane inserts for the other three. with the inserts you won't even know you are missing them. i ran my swap for about 1-2 months with only 3 mounts and no inserts and the engine was torqing pretty bad. then i ran for about another 4 months with inserts untill i found the parts i needed for the front 2. I then installed the fronts with energy suspension inserts and couldn't tell they were there. it does make you feel much better though. by the way with 5 inserts your car will vibrate/rattle pretty bad.

wow... how do u guys run without torque mounts?? i put es inserts in mine about a month ago, and now my wheel hop is almost non-existant. i couldnt imagine how bad it would be with out anything there at all..... unless you replaced the rest of the mounts with solid ones

I agree... I'm not sure how the engine would feel in your car without #1 and #5, #1 being the A/C bracket and #5 bolts to the tranny.

I would imagine you'd feel the engine rocking around in the bay while driving around Save yourself that uneasy feeling and get all of them.

So the #4 mount is the correct mount for the tranny side for a b16 into an EG? I'm just double checking because my swap is sitting lower on the tranny side.
Is #4 the right one to use for an EG? Thanks in advance.
