Default Ground control spring rate question?

Can you adjust the spring rate on GC coilovers after you buy them or do you request a certain spring rate before you buy them?

All you have to do is buy different springs for the sleeve overs.. You should stay in a range that will work with what ever strut you are using.

Well i want to buy the GC4525.01 for the crx and GC recommended 350F & 225R for my application. I was just wondering when i buy the kit can you adjust them by tighten them or do you have to recomend you want that spring rate before you buy them?

spring rates are not adjustable by themselves. you will need to request the rates that you want to use.

adjusting the perch up and down only changes the orientation of the spindle to the top hat, it does not change the working rate.

350/225 is good for a street driven crx/civic. i recommend it with good shocks. otherwise something like 250/150 with stock shocks would be better. spring rates are not changed by adjusting the perch on the sleeve, only height is adjusted. if you want to change your spring rates, you order new springs or specify when custom ordering a kit.
