So what could be making me grind in 3rd gear...i have no clue where to start...suggestions????????????

 

Synchro is probably taking a **** on you. No remedy but to change it or granny shift. Changing your tranny fluid will help but won't fix your problem.

 

Whose isnt....or hasnt at one time or another. Its common..no biggie really. You may have to replace some synchros in time thats it! Keep Drivin .

 

Yes, definitely a common problem. Change your tranny oil if you haven't recently. That has been known to help.

Some people also claim that using GM Syncromesh instead of Honda MTF cures such grinds (try searching archived topics in this forum for "syncromesh" -- there have been several threads).

 

wow i feel loved......and stuff....thanks family......i feel special......how much does it cost to replace synchros....as a matter of fact i've already learned...i'll search first then ask....cause ya'll can get a little mean about repeated questions
