Well I was at the local motor import place and we were talking to the owner about motors and etc. All of a sudden he tells us that Honda made a turbo car, in fact it was made and put into an Acura Legend. Some of you know that Honda did make OEM Turbo, so please don't flame...embrace

I had heard about it, but never seen any solid info. Any idea what year and model legend it was in? What turbo is on there?

 

Well in the JDM market there is the Honda Torneo SIR-T which is basically an accord but turboed from factory.

I thought the only turboe'd car from Honda was the City Turbo.

 

I knew city turbo has boost, but not an ACURA LEGEND. Its a V6 2.0 liter, so this thing has some power in it. The guy told me that the turbo is the size of a t3/t4, pretty nice.

 

That Honda City Life above is as ugly as sin. Its too bad, Honda won't release any high power turboed car to the US market. That would contradict their "green" attitude towards cars.

i think we all know that honda is making turbo cars now. im talkint about back then, when turbo hondas were rare, factory or not.
