84 to 87 integra works really good too. And its cheaper than all the rest. I have it now, my **** doesn't lock up at all, and is probably the best upgrade I done to my car. Slows down the car quickly yet smoothly....
i'm a little confused about this, what is it going to go to the car by putting a bigger master cylinder on it???? wouldnt it just lock up the tires and brake like ****. thanks in advance
Yeah, what's the benefit of using the integra/prelude/civic, etc. master cylinder on a crx? I bought one from autozone that was for my car, and I have never had a problem. Brakes work fine.
Larger MC allows you to push more fluid through the lines. It's basically a MUST for somebody that adds larger brakes to their car or add rear wheel discs in place of drums.
On a stock car with no brake mods it's kind of foolish to "upgrade" the MC. It will reduce the distance you have to press the pedal down to lock up the brakes. This is bad since you won't have as much room to modulate the brakes so they don't lock up in situations.
