MPG?
In an effort to convice my parents to let me pick up a CRX, one being $500 a that, I really need to know the MPG. I did a search and didn't find anything, so I guess this makes this question legit. Does anybody know the MPG for an Si model of the CRX? I've heard 40 and 45, but then again I've also heard 30 or so. Any way its a huge improvement over my 15-18 I get in my Tbird. Thanks guys.
My '89 DX hatch got 34 mpg (was happy on 87 octaine) with a DOHC ZC engine and tranny even with Stage 2 exospeed cams. and spirited driving.................Same car now with a B61 and Y-1 gets 25 ( needs 93 premium) if I take it easy.

the last 3 weeks I've gotten 35+ mpg with my SI with mods in sig. Used to get slightly more. I run 93 as well, car doesn't like 87 anymore and I've always had problems with mid grade for some reason.

that's basically what my dc header looks like except i don't have the polished. anyway, you can see the o2 bung after the 2-1 merge which is where my o2 sensor is now. Maybe it helps me with gas mileage, no clue.

If you are runnig a PR3 or a PW0 ECU you need to plug the O2 sensor hole by the collector and weld 2 bungs up where the 4 tubes merge into 2. You HAVE to have 2 O2 sensors each one looking at 2 cyliders or you WILL have 2 rich and 2 lean cylinders.
Hasport makes a header modified for the ODB-0 ecus.....or you can spend a lot of bucks and convert to ODB-1 to use a single O2 sensor.
