This started happening a couple of days ago. Whenever I gun it on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear past 5k rpm...my speedometer needle will bounced up to about 80mph in a bobbing motion and comes back down when i shift to the next gear. Let's say i gun the car on first..as soon it i reach 5k rpm, the speed needle will bob up and down quickly, then when i shift into second..it'll get back into the actual speed until i reach past 5k rpm, it'll start bobbing again....Is there something wrong with my speed guage all of a sudden?... i have a b20z swap, and it was running perfectly fine for the past 4 months in the exception of the CEL constantly being on from code 45.

Anybody would know what the problem can be?

pull the conenctor off of the speed sensor on the rear of the tranny and check for corrosion in it and amke sure the wires are all the way in the connector

 

the problem your having here, is the problem of no traction.
