Default How light of a flywheel for boosted drag car?

I know you dont want to go too light because you want some mass for a good launch so I was thinking of an ITR flywheel for a good replacement. Would going any lighter help out in getting the car into boost and through the gears w/o losing too much mass for the launch?

The lowest I'd recommend is 8.5lbs.

Wow, that's light! Is it aluminum or chromoly?

How is light to light driving in that?

It is aluminium. Light to light driving is pretty much unaffected. At least I dont really notice a difference. In rush hour you have to be careful about bogging it though.
