1.8L into 2.0L,, Which Head Gasket??
I just recently had a 1.8l bored out to 2.0L (84mm). Can I run a B20 Headgasket or do i need an 84mm cometic. Its going on a high boost set-up. Need help asap.
I would go aftermarket just to not have to worry about any hassles. Besides the bore diameter issue, there is going to be the issue of the head dowels. Specifically, they are different on VTEC and non-VTEC motors and need to be changed when putting a VTEC head on a non-VTEC block. For this reason, I would go with an aftermarket gasket regardless of whether you have a VTEC head on a non-VTEC block or a sleeved B18C.
