I ordered mine from them about 1.5 months ago and still havent gotten it. Maybe they forgot, because I did get my pistons just not my gasket. I know it was backordered, but damn, thats a long time.

same story... ordered my 77mm d16 hg 2 months ago... still nothing. according to race engineering cometic is behind on their stuff. it's pissing me off though because i ordered it like a week after i dropped my head off @ the machine shop and they took like 2 months on the head lol.

thanks for the # earl I'll try to see what's up with cometic directly.

 

i just ordered a new one the other day , they told me 7-10day backlog becuase they have nothing on their shelves. I hope it aint longer than that cuz i cant wait longer.

hopefully for your sake they'll be able to get the b-series ones quicker/easier. just thought that because they're more popular. but yah i've been carless for too long now.

 

yeah guys im backordered on all cometic gaskest also we put a big order in back in feb and we still havent gotten any.....

 

Ill give them the time frames they saiud , if i dont get it by then , ill go with someone else.

 

I would be really pissed off if that was my only motor, because all I need is the gasket to finish the shortblock, but that wasn't the case, so I just let it go. I'll call them today and see whats up.
