i have 91 rex si need some input
i wanna run turbo street set up but high 11's or mid 12's i have 3g's to blow i just swaped my ls/vtec. what is the best bang for my buck???

you're going to need around 300hp to get to 12's.
get a nice turbo (like a super 60) and manifold. standalone management. slicks. External wastegate.
If you have the d16a6 still in the car then rebuild it w/ better rods/pistons.
3g is a TIGHT buget for 11 sec car. good luck.

diy turbo. you didnt list what you did with the lsvtec... use the money you will save on the diy turbo and build the internals. boost it to hell and with some traction you can get your 11-12s

cheap way out:
afc hack
450-550cc injectors
run 12 lbs of boost
t3/to4e turbo
my manifold polished ss
35mm tial sty WG
turbo XS bov
IC core 25x5.5x2.7
2.25 piping or 2.5

i have the ls\vtec in now the motor was built to handle 40 psi it's bored .2 liters pistons-rods and sleeved with a b16 head i had the giving to me my friend got out of draging and into drifting clean as **** 240sx so he give me the motor for my b-day best gift ever

Totally untrue. I've seen a basically stock B18C5 take a hatch to a 13.0 at 104 with about 185-190 whp, slicks, good suspension, and good driving.
EDIT: Friend with an A6 putting 220 to the wheels ran a 12.7 on slicks.
