what I usually do when I don;t have that tool anywhere near me, I just turn the nut clockwise (tighty) and then loosen it again to get rid of the dust that is possibly holding the virgin nut in place

Haha when I was putting in my tokico's, my friend stripped one of the nuts. So we got a chisel and broke that damn nut and went to a car shop, dug through a big bucket of bolts and nuts and replaced =D The chiseling took 2 hours...try using the tool they showed you to save time.

You need to hammer it on then. Jesus Christ: use some vice grips or something .

yeah that's prolly a more practical solution than the one I posted... try the grips first before the dremel. Good luck getting em off... I hate rounded, siezed, and otherwise troublesome nuts and bolts

First off, if you're talking about the suspension on an eg or ek, you are talking about a shock absorber, not a strut.

My friend was doing suspension on his AE86. The nut was jammed, and ended up rounding off. It was 12mm originally, so my friend hammered an 11mm 12pt on, and it turned right off.

It holds the strut upper pillow mount in place. 93-00 have 2 bolts that hold them

yea, but thats not inside the car. That nut can easily be removed with a smaller sized socket, or with nut extractors or vise grips.

damn i did this to mine too....vise grips did nothing. so i just left it on there. i had to just take it apart by the actual strut nut. so i guess i cant get an upper strut bar for my rear

Those nuts are 14mm's. So get ethier a 13mm or a 1/2inch socket and hammer that **** on the nut. Hammer it till it sits flush, then throw your ratchet on it and take that **** off.
