I've got a 93 Civic DX that I got not to long ago, and all of a sudden it started running hot, and then when I would start the car it blew all kinds of white smoke out of the back, when I would put in in first, the car would barely accelerate. So I've stopped driving it, now I realize I probably should have stopped driving it as soon as it started running hot. Someone told be it was probably a bad head gasket or a cracked head?
Another thing: if I just go with bolt on performance parts, will it do much good? Or is it a waste of money?

 

sounds like you blew the head gasket to me. You may have warped the head too, so get that checked out while it's off.

 

Don't add any performance parts until you fix it bro, I also think you might have blown a headgasket.
