What honda comes with a 4030 prop valve?

Im just doing some brake research. I think some jdm civics with the larger front brakes came with them but I cant find any info. Is there a american honda that comes with this valve?

40 30? you mean 60 40?

 

I've got to wish you luck with this question. It seems that NOBODY really knows what the numbers mean.

I did a lot of searching (including calling American Honda) and what the numbers mean and what it's installed on really isn't "available".

What seems strange to me is that normally the first number (two digits) is smaller or equal to the second. I've never heard of a number like 40/30.

If you do find anybody that knows what the numbers really mean, PLEASE let me know.

I have yet to confirm this (seen it in person) but I think jdm non abs eg6's came with 4030's They came with the larger front brakes like those found on the 94~95 abs equipped usdm eh2's.

If Im right the 4030 will provide the correct brake bias for the 92-95 civic hatches wich have different weight distribution than integras.

I called around and the best price qote for a 4030 was 80 bucks and I want to know if I can pluck one from a junkyard. I dont know if the jdm valves will line up because they are off of rhd cars.

 

I just pulled one of these 4030 valves off of a 92 civic Si in the salvage yard.

edit. Looked at it wrong, it's a 3040.
