Well my bud has a rusted out zc powered 90 std and he's getting tired of crawlin in and out of his corbeau forza seat so he wanted to get somethin different. He knew of a small u pull it place that just opened up. It's got lots of civics of our kind, newer, etc....NICE stuff sittin round. If I had a digi cam i'd go snap pics to brag.

FYI: 88-89 doors can't use 90-91 civic ex power mirror interior blank covers ( i have aftermarket mirrors and the hole for the adjustment rod was empty) the door panels are different. oh well

Anyways......we found a 90 crx si still with good tails and misc. stuff, but had a hard front impact. We got the seats out of it that were 99% mint condition, no rips, just the bolster was a lil on the soft side, but it was also raining. For $25 a piece!

Sooo, after I buy his corbeau he will have two crx si seats for $25
all in all we're both gonna be happy and i'll have a cool civic si seat to put inside my dorm next semester.

we're prolly goin back out there tomorrow to snag a power window setup, and a few other things. Anyone need me to look out for something?

u pullits are great. my crx is a junkyard machine. lol junkyard seats,fender,bumpers,interior parts, and so on. soon im goin for a junkyard motor,lol

hell yeah!! need the speedo gear drive out of a cable b-series tranny. the piece the speedo cable plugs into!!

I could prolly work somethin out for yall. I don't have much reserve cash on hand to pre pay, but I can do a price check first and go from there.

I live at the pick-apart ard near me. 30 bucks all-you-can-carry, baby. I go there all the time for little repair bits. when I was unemployed, I made a nice little secondary income off snagging valuable stuff and ebaying it. a supercharger from an old t-bird would run me around 20 bucks and would sell for like 250. you do the math. elbow grease is valuable stuff.

 

hmmm, time to branch out to other cars...i did see some 80's dodge with foglights, you know everyone loves foglights

I didn't make it out there today. My friend in a nearby town couldn't come along to get me in. Hopefully tomorrow I can make it there. I start a full time job on Monday, so it's whatever I can see tomorrow, then go back next saturday and buy them all. Sound good?
