Default 13x8 wheels on a street 90 hatch?

i'm looking at buying some Rota RB wheels, panasport knockoffs. yeah, i know its a knockoff, but i'm in college, i love panasports, but i cannot afford them....

anyways, i can afford the RB's, and i was wondering if i could possibly fit a 13x8 wheel under my factory fenders......i dont think i can, which would suck.......but i thought i'd ask the all knowing honda-tech'ers if you think its possible. the car is lowered significantly with H&R race springs and Koni yellow shocks. thanks in advance for the answers.....-adam

maybe with some spacers and extended lugs. that is going to put those wheels out there

well there is a pretty good offset on them already........heres a link to what they look like. http://www.rotawheels.com/rb.htm

i'm mainly wondering if they will fit under the fenders......it'd be tough

i run 15"x6.5 and do not have rubbing on track or autocross. whre do you mean clearance? inside the fender while turning?

yeah, thats the main thing i'm worried about. i dont think it will rub the spindle or anything crazy, i'm wondering if it will rub the inside of the fenders. its a pretty wide wheel.

every other person ive seen that autox's with wide rims like that always cuts the fender and puts on fender flares.

turn your wheels that are on the car now and measure the clearance. remember to allow a little extra, probably an 1.5", for suspension travel, also the thickness and width of the tire you put on will need to be considered.

I'm running 15x7's with 195/50R15 tires and they cleared fine EXCEPT for the wheelweight on the right left rim... had to grind the trailing arm down a bit. Nothing a spacer and some extended wheel studs couldn't fix if I cared enough.

yeah, i've loved panasports since i was kid, and if i can fit these rota's under my car, i wanna rock them on the street, now, if its possible, i'll just have to find a tire to fit them.
