I just bought a paint pen off of ebay. I told the guy I was looking for Y56 Phoenix Yellow and he said that would be no problem. The pens come from Canada as they don't sell them in the U.S. When it arrived it reads "Y56 Sunlight Yellow". Did I get ripped or is that what they call Phoenix Yellow in Canada. Anyone ever heard of this color?

They have a marker big enough for my whole car in CW?

 

Yes, its a listed color in the Acura computer system. I forget where the color came from, but I believe it was model year 2000.

It has it listed under Integra Type R for the year 2000, not sure which country. Maybe they thought sunlight yellow sounded too wussy and changed it to Phoenix Yellow last minute

This guy has every color ever made for Honda within the last 10 years. These paint pens are a lot easier to use than that **** they sell you at the Acura dealerships

 

I believe Sunlight Yellow was a CTR color.

Its not exactly free, you still have to pay for it up front and then wait for your refund.

 

Yes our Yellow integras here in Canada are called Sunlight Yellow, call any Acura dealership in Canada and they will tell you the same. I hate the name our yellow was given

 

when we invade your country and make it part of the US, I will personally have the name changed just for you.

Funny, I was playing GT3 just last night and noticed the JDM Yellow ITR/CTR is "Sunlight Yellow" instead of Phoenix Yellow...
