i read this topic alittle while ago.. i have same cams in my ls/vtec.. they wore exactly the same.. i also had a friend with the same cams that did the same thing.. its not anyones fault.. there is just a bad batch of ctr exhuast cams.. only happens to exhuast side... sorry to start another topic about that one.. i just wanted to let someone know that it has happen b4 to a few people. thanx

 

i don't believe that there was a "bad batch" of exhaust cams.

I ran ctr cams in my b16 with portflow inners and ITR outers, I ran the cams for alteast a year of almost daily driving and when i took the cams out they were flawless.

Sold the cams to a friend and he bought rocket springs, couple months later he took the cams out to sell to ZCNOS and the exhaust cam was fucked.

so ZCNOS bought another set of ctr cams and a set of rocket valvesprings.
and his cam is fucked after a week
