FD options for S4C tranny...

well since i ended up trading away my ITR tranny, i'm now in possesion of an S4C....
i'm really considering adding a higher FD in it...since I'm not sure what i'll be running gear wise at the track with my 24.5's on... I figure it'll be worth it accerlation wise to.
but the problem is that i just bought a KAAZ LSD for it...so I can't do the 4.786 FD, which is what i wanted...sicne they aren't terribly priced like most other FD's..
so what are the cheaper options for use ppl with S4C's???

which lsd did you buy?
S4C and LS size ring gear
or ITR/GSR size ring gear
if you bought it specifically for the B16 trans your SOL
sell it and get a GSR/ITR sized lsd

they will fit into your tranny just fine, you have to have a gsr/itr ring gear, thats all

There are 10 bolt holes in the y1/ys1/S4c trannies and 12 on the S80 etc. Or the other way around... Can't remember off hand but that is the only difference. No size change just the number of bolt holes.
quoted myself, cuz i was just repeating myself
anyway, the outerdiameter of the ring gear is the same its the inner diameter that is different
so in order to run a jdm/ats FD , you need ITR/GSR sized differential
I've seen some crazy ****, someone bought a used GSR transmission, and bought a quaife for me to install
I guess the previous owner broke stuff, and replaced the GSR counter shaft, differential, and ring gear with LS parts, so now he needs a new ring gear to get the quaife to work
