Hi all, i recently bought a 1991 civic si and when i start it up, it starts smoking white and when u give it more throtel it smokes even more and it doesnt go away...also water keeps coming out of the mufler and it wont stop! can anyone figure out this prob? thanks all

 

head gasket is F*ING toast i believe. white smoke usually means that if i remember correctly

 

run some b12 or some sort of evaporative fuel cleaner through it. replace fuel filter, drain gas. check all this if it's still smokin you've probably got a problem

 

is this when it first warms up, or all the time ?

 

does the exhaust smell sweet?

 

sounds exactly like my old zc. Bought it in the cold and it smoked white, didnt think anything of it. Over the next couple days I noticed it would smoke this semi thick/dense white smoke. Check your radiator, if its bubbling thats usually another sign of head gasket. I had both symptoms, replaced head gasket and all was well.
