i am replacing all the gaskets in my integra and i need to know a helpful hint on how to remove the intake manifold gasket. everytime i try to peel the gasket off the head it just breaks in peaces and i cant get a good hold on it.

also what is a good solvent that i can use to get the oil off of my engine and off of the bolts i take off?

 

i used a razor blade (carefully) and a scotch brite scuff disk on a drill - i know people use some kind of solvent to help loosen it but i cant think of it off the top of my head - its way easier when you take out the manifold studs too - engine degreaser to clean oil or brake cleaner
