Painting from milano red to phoenix yellow?
may seem like a dumb question but hey i am a dummy! if painting (on a budget) and i decide to re-paint milano red into phoenix yellow, would it be ok to leave the engine bay milano red and just do the body and door jams or would the red engine bay be some how noticable, with the exception of opening the hood... thanx

You'll notice it...
I went from Milano Red to a custom silver, and I'm so glad I did the engine bay. My buddy went from the maroon'ish color to bmw blue and didn't do his bay, it just looks silly to me...

It won't be noticeable, but you'll know... The question is whether or not it'll bother you that you could've spent another 2 days pulling the engine/replacing it and have it perfect...

who wants to open there hood and see red when its yellow on the outside?
even if your not "flashing the bay"
what if your checking something in engine bay and somebody sees that madness?

if you dont open the hood....i dont think it will be noticeable if you paint the fender all the way down in the engine bay....but i would just pay the extra money and get it all done. you might regret it later down the road when you pop your hood and stuff
