Default Simple Vtec Question

Hi, i just got my 5th gen lude.

Quick question which i can't seem to get a straight answer out of.

Where does the vtec engage on a 5th gen, I'm assuming there are dual stage intake runners, so where do they each engage.

With a vtec controller where is the best rpm to place the hit, with just simple i/h/e. If I'm right about the two runners, it won't help much to make it hit sooner will it?

Thanks!

Instead of you typing that whole big "use the search function" phrase you could of simply put 5500 RPM.

thank you satan_srv. Thats all i needed. vtec at 5200 and runners at 4900. Would it be a good assumption then to put the vtec down to 4900 then?

I appreciate everyone's help teaching to use the search and all. This is my second honda allthough and I knew my integra very very well. My lude on the other hand not so well. typing in vtec in the search gives so many hits and so much crap to weed through! All i wanted was a straight answer as i got here, thats why i asked, i did a search just ended up with alot of useless stuff.

Thanks for the help guys!!
