My brother has a b16a in a 91 hatch. Before we did the motor swap we added port flow inner valve springs and skunk2 ti retainers around with stock b16a outer valve springs for down the road when he wanted to think about maybe bigger cams. Well now he wants bigger cams. my question is with that setup what cams can he run? crower stage 1's, skunk2 stage 1's, ctr's. what is the biggest he can go. also he will probably raise the rev limiter to 8500-9000 range.

if he is down to replace the outter springs then he could run the skunk stage two. yet at the same time yes right now he could run the CTR if you could find them.

So what your saying is with his setup don't go any bigger than ctr cams?

CTR's, Buddyclubs, skunk2 stage 1's, toda A's should all work fine with your current valvetrain setup.
