Default oil change?

this is kinda dumb question but how many quarts of oil do i need to change the oil in my car.. its fairly new car for me and i didnt get owners manual with it 2000 GSR . also what oil do you suggest cause im goin to store now please respond asap.

castrol syntec or mobil1 10w30. 4.2 quarts. make sure it's between the 2 dots on the dip stick.

4-5 quart syntec oil is good. jsut put 4 first then add till its between the 2 dots in oil dip stick

4 quarts plus a bottle of 4cyl oil additive, keep an extra quart handy in case.

I recommend Castrol GTX 5 or 10w30 if your using dyno oil.

i allways use 4.5 quarts and that is allways more than enough

I've always poored just 4 quarts in. Seems fine judging by my dip stick reading afterwards.

Owners manuel says 5w30 for the gsr, although 10w30 works

You are not spose to use oil additives in honda engines....

Do not overfill. Just check the dots on the dipstick.
