new pics of my R!! (lots a pics beware)
Nice.....but how is that sub-box anchored to the car? You might consider bolting it to the frame because if you are ever in a front end collision you are going to have a 150 lb projectile hitting you on the back of the head - or at least ripping you rear seats out. Know why I know this? My friend who works as an insurance claims representative has seen people killed from flying sub-boxes.
Nice ride, but several questions:
1 - Who did your bodywork in DE? (I'm local.)
2 - Any track times (Cecil County Dragway)?
3 - Why did you remove ALL of your tint (DE allows tinted back sides and rear)?
I'll keep an eye out for you on the Rt. 40/13 corridor!...

I think your car looks sweet....jdm conversion looks real good. I believe your nitrous system is a zex set up....which we have on a few of our cars here, its a very good system, I would like to see some time slips on your car if you run it.
Why is everyone screwing this guys *** because of a box and other stuff?
Hrmm...Um dood...If you're happy, that's all that matters.
Nice Car.
I would like to ask something that's been bothering me for a while. To all those people that want to remove every pound on the car, do you track your car every single day? When you go to work do you get a trophy for every stoplight drag you are involved in? Do you look cool driving around town with a gutted interior? Having too much of a race setup is kinda ricey when you don't properly race it don't you think? Rice can go either way.

thanx for the replies guys. ok let me start by saying the hood pins serve a purpose. i have the stock latch but what holds the latch on isnt very strong. when i would be on the highway in the upward areas of 80-90 u can see the hood flapping in the wind and its scared the sh*t out of me so i would rather be safe then have a hood in my face....and the sub box next spring im getting a fiber glass one that will cut the wait greatly...but at the time i didnt have the 800 dollars to get one so that will have to do for now
...i got the work done at master tech overall a good job they messed up the paint at first but fixed with no problems., and they didnt know how to hook up the lights so i had to take elsewhere and they messed that up too.. i ran at cecil but wish not to disclose the results because i suck...currently im in West Virginia going to school... so ill look for u on 40 when i get back get in touch with me and we can get together some where....and im debating taking the windsheild sticker off ive heard people take it off and others leave it on i geuss its what ever i decide....and for the weight factor im not really going to be autocrossing so the weight isnt going really affect me and i like being comfortable so gutting the interior would be out of the question...otherwise this weekend im getting adjustable springs....and after that come the internals
...but thanks for the replies

Cool car but it is too pimped to be a Type-R. You say youre not autocrossing, and therefore I assume you won't be taking it to track events either. That is all **** I would do to my car if it weren't such a single-minded machine. If I had a GS-R though or a 4-dr you can bet your *** I would pimp it out. I do happen to have subs in my car but they come right out when I go to the track. So I give you a
for a nice-looking car and a
for doing that to an ITR.

i see your point but when i do decide to take it to an event the subs and box come out in 2 minutes not a big deal but when im riding around i like to have sound...its like you guys are saying the box is there for life its not i can take it out whenever....and the ps2 is for long trips so i have something my friends can watch or play so what else did i do to the itr that doesnt make sence...just wondering cuz almost everyone is obsessed with the weight factor and i havent added weight that i cant take out...but thanx for the props on a nice car
