Default Car alarm question?

I'm new to the whole aftermarket car alarm thing. I've been reading up on certain systems and their prices, and everyone seems to love DEI. So I'm moved to buy their alarm system. I'm looking at the Hornet 730T with a dei 515r and a dei 8616. I'm not sure if that will all work together. I want to get a pager and also a kill switch built in, and a backup siren with its own battery. The alarms I've seen that fit the description all have a remote start. I don't want a remote start so I don't want to pay for something that I'm not going to use. Any input will be great. Prices, websites things like that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Just go for one of the two way units with remote start built in. Then no need for an add on pager.

You will have to get actuators added. Pretty easy on civics.

if your heart is set on DEI and you want a 2way system then you need to look into the DEI VIPER 690xv pretty much same alarm as the 790xv but it does NOT have remote start features...

your 515r will work and you can still wire up your kill switch w/ the relay just like a starter kill relay..

it will also control the door locks if you install actuators but you can lock and unlock the doors manually till you get those installed. im not sure if the 690xv includes a 451m (door lock relays) or not but you would need to get actuators 2 dei 524n actuators and a 451m relay pack!

Why buy two separate units when the viper 790 or other comparable DEI products will do everything.
