Default Viper Alarm With Or Without Remote Start?

Im looking to buy a Viper alarm and haven't decided if i should go with a hi end
viper alarm with or without remote start.

Which do you prefer/have?

Help me decide

I not going to poll on this. Pick out what fits your budget and go from there. I reccommend the the 5901 viper or 50.7x because of the range and extra features. Most cheaper alarms suck on range.

price really is not a factor when its something protecting my car,
its just i have heard good things about remote start,
and some bad things so just trying to get some other output.

I get this question a lot from my customers as well. There is no "one size fits all" answer.
A remote start is a convenience feature for your comfort in reality. If you want that its fine.
With that type of system you get a longer transmitter range from 1500' to worldwide (depending on conditions and what features/options are added). As for issues with those systems...the majority come from improper installation techniques. Maybe i should rephrase that....or explain it this way: There are many ways to connect circuits/wires together. Some are quicker than others. It all depends on what the installer opinions are on it. As a co-worker stated : ' You are only as good as you worst install. '

I say if you live somewere were it get cold and even snows you should get it, but if not you dont really need it.

i would go with either one that wrx killer posted, without auto start, but if money isnt a problem then i would go with auto start.

that's great to know i don't really know anything about how they work (hooked up). but that clears a lot of my discrepancy's up
