does anyone know what to set the valve lash to when useing these cams?

 

6 and 8 hot...if i remember right

yea thats what i said...i guess

 

All Honda valve lash specs are for a cold engine. Unless RS recommends differently, adjust them cold.

 

6 intake and 8 exhaust is this the right answer??

yeah, does anyone know the answer for sure? I need to know this ASAP, just got my cams in the motor and am ready to get it to the dyno.

i was told to do 10,10 on mine.
that was by will from exospeed and rs.

 

whats the spec on these cams?

Yeah, call RS, that way you know for sure.

 

yea .10 and .10, same for intake and exhaust. this is what i was told when i bought the cams

 

this confusing me.....
why the guy from RS machine told me 6 for intake and 8 for exhaust...

 

I called them and they told me .010 .010

 

.oo6-.008 is too tight iin my eye's. I run .009-.010 on my sk 3's

 

i set mine .010 on both side but it makes noise on rocker valve, and after that i change to .006 in and .008 ex, still makes noise.
any clue??how bout with other people who used rs cam??

I have set mine at .006 and .008. Wouldn't that be standard?

 

Thiss is Jon frormally of RS Machines....the best valve lash would be 6 and 8
