Has anyone seen blueprints for a 4th gen? I want to build an accurate 3d model of one and would need at least basic blueprints of the outside to make it really work.

Something like the following would be nice..

Well this would be a 3d CGI model. Using blender3d software to create the model. I can't model real objects anymore. It's been 13 years since I last did that and I was never THAT good at it anyway

My goal is to create the prelude and then model body mods and see what they look like on it Maybe even get into doing some animations of it in motion.

You can get measurements like those form a chilton's guide...

 

Well, i don't really need measurments. I just need the actually blueprint drawing, which should already be to proper scale. I'll use the images as my background images for front, side and rear and then build the 3d model from those.

 

well then let me correct myself... You can can blueprint drawings identical to the Audi TT ones out of a chiltons guide for a prelude... I also guarantee that they are on the internet if you search for them...

 

Im sure it would say the measurement's in a Honda Prelude brochure.

 

Ummm buy the body repair manual...it has every body and chassis measurement you could ever need.

This is different than the service manual

 

 

Check out http://www.hlj.com/... They have about 8 diffrent prelude kits, though only about 4 in stock right now... I ordered the JUN kit and it shipped to my door in about 3 weeks for $23 US... They even have a 4th gen prelude Tokyo cop car! Don't know if it ever really was or not, but it's pretty damn funny if it's true ;-)

Yes. They have had Prelude police cars which looked similar. My first trip to Japan was in 97 and I saw a couple doing traffic enforcement on the tollway. Haven't seen any in recent years but I'm sure they were phased out.

 

Sweet! Thanks Kawkze_56 for the image. It's a good start. It's not a high enough resolution to make this *easy* on me to 3d model it *perfectly* But will more than do the trick for my frist attempt at making this model. I've almost completed the drivers side fender and it's looking pretty good. With any luck it will only take me a week to make something that looks like my 95 prelude
