Looks Like I wont be getting an ITR....
Hey guys, I don't post here much but i've been reading here for a while. Anyhow, I posted a while ago saying that I was trying to get an itr and was possibly going to get one. After talking it over with my dad and family,I think I may be getting a new RSX Type S. Reasons bieng, the car I currently have now I want to trade into a dealership instead of fix it up and sell it, also I need a car that will have a warrenty for me all the way through college. I wish I could have gotton an ITR, it is such a nice car and is limited but I dont think that will happen.
So I have one question for you guys, though its sort of off topic, if any of you have bought a 2001-2002 RSX type S, what options did you get with it? I want to get the factory body kit but that adds almost $2000 onto it accodring to the acura website. Also, is that titanium trim look on the inside forth the $250 or so extra?
Last, are the wheels worth the extra grand they charge you? Or should I judt try to buy my own?
thanks
Bryan

i think a local dealer (northern va) has a black 2001 ITR on the lot still. Radley Acura http://www.acuradealer.com/radley/ is the place i believe, you may want to check with them if the location is convenient for you.

You might have some more luck with a response on the RSX forum or RSX.com (I believe the website is). Don't take the grand to upgrade the wheels. Buy something you like later on down the road.
the foglights look nice, but aren't really that bright, and only come on when the headlights are on. the after trim kit can be gotten for cheaper thatn $2000, I got mine for under $1,000, but I put it on myself. The stock 16" rims are satisfactory to me, until I get the JDM rims in a couple months......thats really about all thats available now
So the fog lighs ant the rims are out, what about $450 for the wing? thats what the website quotes, its sort of sick.

So it looks like I should just get the titanium trim (maybe?), the full nose mask for winter, the aluminum **** (hey I need to see the 6 speeds, not used to one) and an ashtray (need to quit) last the gold Type S emblem.
On a side note: does the gold type S emblem look good or bad with silver
emblems?
Thanks

Hey, Snakex, be sure to look at http://www.stongard.com instead of opting for the nose bra. I have it on my ITR and I love it.
