Recomended suspension on h22a eh2?

Default Recomended suspension on h22a eh2?

I have an h22a in my 92 eh2. I am currently running koni yellows and weapon r(crap) coil-overs. I also have a upper front and rear bars (don't know if those help at all). What would be the next step it upgrade my suspension?

Would it be getting rid of the crap coil-overs and getting something like skunk2 or something?

BTW, I am running on Dunlop p195/55/r15 tires on gsr spokes if that matters.

I have searched and I'm pretty sure that this question has been asked but I have no clue what else to search for.

If those coilovers have civic spring rates, I would definately ditch those for DC2 Spring/coilover.

Definitely not, those would no doubt be worse than the Weapon R's you have now. I see that you already have Koni yellow's which are good struts, just ditch the Weapon R's. If you want a ride height adjustable setup, look into some Ground Control sleeve coilovers. You can order custom spring rates which would be best in your case.

That's what I did, ordered custom GC's with a 400lb. rate on all 4 corners. The strut bars aren't really going to do a whole lot, but you might wanna look into a swaybar set.

So 400lb is the rate that I am looking for.

Wouldn't the back need something less than the front? I am just asking.

I was just reading that scales are recomended to adjust the sleeves.

Screw that. I just wan't good springs now. Any recomended.

What are you using this thing for?

How much do you care about ride quality?

400lb rates are going to be pretty high for a street only application, but may be a hair too low for auto-x or road race. Not only that, but if you go either of those routes you will most likely want to change them once you find out how you like to drive.

I haven't changed my springs for that exact reason. I had two blown shocks so I went ahead and bought some koni's, but I am going to hold off on the springs/sways/strut bars until i know how i want my car to handle by experience, not by what someone else is running.
