Knuckles, or bearings? Jim and I just replaced one of my front wheel bearings last night.
FWIW, NAPA bearings are $30 less than Honda.

LoL! I guess I was so wrapped up in this issue I forgot about every other bearing on the car!
Wheel bearing.
John,
Funny thing about the dealership bearings....There are 4 different brands available! Koyo, Toyo, NTN, and Machi?
I had all the above options available from my local parts store for about $30 less as well!

I went as far as calling the contact # on the first link and asked them about a similar site for Acura parts... they knew of none. *shrug* it was worth a shot.

Correct. The cool thing about it is, the dealer dosn't manufacture the bearing. So we are able to locate the same bearing the dealer sells, only for about 1/2 the price!

No worries...
I figured out the issue....I had the micrometers out, measuring this, measuring that....finally figured out the knuckle was in fact worn.
BTW: new knuckles are EXPENSIVE!

All the prices I'm getting around here (chicago) are that napa and autozone etc are like 30bucks more
Honda wants 52-56 bucks... I've been quoted by napa at 83 and 96

Which side knuckle do you need, and how soon do you need it? I'm changing mine out in the upcoming weeks to move up to some larger rotors.

- Does anyone know if the hubs & wheel bearings can be pressed into the knuckle as one unit?
I received my hubs back from heat-treating with the bearings already pressed on;
When I took them to the Honda dealer this evening to be pressed in, they said the new wheel bearing would have to be pulled back off the hub first - then pressed into the knuckle (before pressing in the new hub, because of the snap ring for the wheel bearing).
Are they right, or do I need to find another shop?
P.S. - Thanks for the space, Jeremy. I might be a good idea to take Austin up on his offer if you haven't purchased your new knuckle yet.

That is correct, the bearing has to go in first, then the snap ring, and then the hub goes in. You won't have clearance to install the snap ring without the parts separated.

Hopefully these are not the hubs that have been keeping you from the track to to their late arrival.....
