removing a/c compressor, what belt to use??
i am planning on removing the a/c compressor on my 92 si, since it's bad aniwaiis....what belt would i have to use? does any1 kno the size that has done this b4? thanx
I just did it, but I threw away the belt package
...
But here's all you have to do-
1.take the old belt off and the A/C
2.cut the belt and wrap it around the crank + alt. pulley and just cut off what overlaps
3.take belt to auto parts store and ask for the size belt that you now have, only not cut...

Not much from the A/C, because the pulley rotates very freely when it's not on, but you'll save some weight and make a MUCH cleaner engine bay. Removing P/S will get you more power than A/C...

You should use my number 3:
3. Grab some duct tape, secure belt, and reinstall.

All you have to do is buy a belt for a 1992-1996 Prelude S with the F22 engine. It did not have a AC compressor. That's what is on my car right now.

I recently bought a K060365 Micro-V belt and I haven't had a change to see if it fits. (the belt was 36.5 inches instead of 36., so I'm not sure if it's gonna work...
I'l let you know asap.
