for your budget a B16A would prolly be the best. If you know how to use normal tools it is actually a straight forward swap. if you aren't that good with wiring find a friend that knows how to soldier and there are plenty of diagrams all over the net on how to wire it up. good luck

Hey, thanks for the insight. What do you think about a b18 or a b16b?

Advantages/Disadvantages?

B18 Good platform

N/A LS, Turbo LS, LS V-tec...

B16b Over priced

Pretty much a factory modded b16a

Ever thought about the D series single cam motors????

D16z6, D16y8,D16a6....

Pretty good for some boosting...

Just do alot of research before u buy a motor...Because i went out and bought a b16a full swap and its still sitting in my garage....

Yea yea i know...I dont know it's just something about the single cam turbo that gives me chill's....Gotta love bring the underdog to the top...

B16B is pretty much a destroked ITR. Using longer rods and a b16a crank but the block is the same as the b18c.
