Default 2.3L VTEC

Somebody in my area is selling a 2.3L VTEC in a 4th gen. Is this the Accord VTEC, or are there other common 2.3L VTEC swaps out there? What's your guys' opinions on these? Are they just as reliable? How about speed? Thanks guys!

I'm not sure, but I don't think there is an H23 VTEC. I'm assuming an H23 VTEC would be an H23 block and an H23 head? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ill correct you. It is an H22 Head on an H23 Block. Talk to "95 lude" and ask his experience with the H23 Vtec. Im sure he will shed some light on this subject. Or just search for his topics.

h23 vtec is h23 block and h22 head! I have done one right now and am having tons of problems NON RELATED TO THE H23VTEC SWAP

People seemtothink that I am having alot of problems because of the combo...but I just have extremly bad luck so....if I was you I would go lookat it and lookfor the block code. That would tellyou everything

It also could be the accord sir h23 vtec that came with an automatic transmission only

Upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3 is the main idea.
