I just got my "A" from my front bumper stolen a few hours ago at school!!! This F**KIN SUCKS!!!

After examining what's left over of my "A" I don't think the person stole it because he wanted the "A" but because he/she was hating. Or maybe they didn't know it was going to break like it did. This also happen to my friend, Trigun on this board, a few days ago.
Does anyone know what the cost of replacing the emblem?

mine broke like that too when it was stolen. sorry to hear. replacement emblems cost 56.00 from the dealership. I suggest you get the emblems shaved or just replace it with a cheapy aftermarket because as much as i hate to tell you it will probably happen again.

 

56 bucks for the emblem...that sucks. maybe I should take your advice and go badgeless.

yep samething happened to me and i replaced the front with a fake A sign. Somebody eventually stole that too!

mine got stolen so I put on some cheapy "carbon fiber look-a-like" emblems. Funny no one has stole the crappy ones yet.

 

better knock on wood. hehe...

You guys know what's funny? My friend got his stolen and he was jinx me saying that he can't believe his gsr A got stolen before my ITR A. Two days later it got swiped. It's alright though I am over it.

hey what school do you go to? I had mine taken off a couple of moths ago but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I got my front and back shaved with the insurance, and now the car looks better than ever. Very unique look.

 

I would leave them off and when you get out of school get new ones.

 

What did you tell insurance? I couldn't imagine they would cover something so small. The lowest deductible for my insurance, AAA, is only $500. Anything else happen?

ITR501-There is a ITR that goes to my school with shaved badges show it twice...maybe it's you.

blktyper2001-That's good advice, especially when it is highly likely that the A will get jacked again, but I really like the red emblem. I think it adds more of a mystic to the R.

B2finity-I didn't report it because my deductible is $500. And yes something else happened to my car but this is before the emblem incident. I usually park my car at the corner spots and when I came out of class one day there was a pretty big scratch on the left front of my bumper.
