OBDII Distributor with OBDI ECU - is it possible?
I've got a funny noise coming from under the hood of my 94 Teg LS when I give her about 05-10% throttle. Kind of a screech, whistle noise. I think it could possibly be the bearings in the distributor (it has about 180k on it).
I've got the OBDII distributor left over from my B20 swap; will it fit the OBDI Integra wiring harness? Are the pin-outs the same? I can cut of the plugs from the OBDI distributor and solder them on the OBDII piece, I just want to make sure they're compatible.
Does anybody have a wiring schematic they can post so I know what wires are what?
What do you think?

The color of the wires should be the same, but the plugs themselves are different. I would repin the OBDII dizzy with the OBDI plugs in the appropriate slots. Internally, both dizzy's are the same.
hmm supossedly the dizzy's had a recall but that was retired.. you need an upgraded version wiht the new bearings cuz the older version bearings siezed form the heat stopping the dizzy and yeah you know what happens...
i forget when the recall was made but i went to http://www.hondadistributor.net and got one for $260 shipped.. also distributorking sells them with H-T member discounts.
