He just replaced the timing belt, all belts, radiator, and done tune up to it. What else should I do as a precaution? The entire car is stock.

So $7500 is a good deal?

I run Mobil 1 synthetic. No problems, slightly better mileage. Check the stock air filter, if it's relatively clean, keep it. Otherwise get a K&N panel filter or el cheapo ebay filter.

That's a pretty good deal at $7500. Get it.

I used Mobil1 in my GSR but it burns alot. I switched to Castrol Syntec, which is a synthetic blend and it holds up a bit better. I haven't done an oil change in my s2000 yet, I'm still trying to decide on an oil myself.

Sounds like a reasonable deal to me, providing it's in good shape .

yes it's obvious that your engine is in better shape than your friends, and that the driver has nothing to do with what car is "faster"

<---95 GSR 91k on chassis, less than 50 miles on new engine/tranny. $6k

Edit: for anti-theft. Spend good money on a quality alarm/install to protect your new investment. I've gone into my anti-theft devices about a grand, and I'm a firm believer that you can't place a price on peace of mind.
