Just brought a stock GSR from 1-owner for $7500 with 85. Its a 98. Good deal?
He just replaced the timing belt, all belts, radiator, and done tune up to it. What else should I do as a precaution? The entire car is stock.
So $7500 is a good deal?

I run Mobil 1 synthetic. No problems, slightly better mileage. Check the stock air filter, if it's relatively clean, keep it. Otherwise get a K&N panel filter or el cheapo ebay filter.
That's a pretty good deal at $7500. Get it.

I used Mobil1 in my GSR but it burns alot. I switched to Castrol Syntec, which is a synthetic blend and it holds up a bit better. I haven't done an oil change in my s2000 yet, I'm still trying to decide on an oil myself.
I got my 98 GSR w/ 120k miles for 5500, body is in great condition, even tho it has a lot of miles, its still faster than my friends GSR which is a 99 with 90k miles and he paid 9500 for his

yes it's obvious that your engine is in better shape than your friends, and that the driver has nothing to do with what car is "faster"

<---95 GSR 91k on chassis, less than 50 miles on new engine/tranny. $6k
Edit:
for anti-theft. Spend good money on a quality alarm/install to protect your new investment. I've gone into my anti-theft devices about a grand, and I'm a firm believer that you can't place a price on peace of mind.
