Default Redline 6000 rpm in a gsr?? fried ecu?

my car is redling at 6000 just recently after recieving a atomsphere pressure cel... i dont boost car is mostly stock... i reset the ecu serveral times and i still cant rev past around 6 -7000.... i dont know what is wrong.. it seems like the car is just slamming around at that rpm not really cut off just feels really werid.. any ideas?? ecu?

i heard people only abled to rev to 6 when vtec wasnt workin.

do you still get the CEL? if it's still on then the car will still be in limp mode. are you resetting via the fuse or the battery?

i am resetting the battery... what fuse should i use.. and what is the difference.. the light went away.. after the first reset

you are correct

You will be reving out that high since the ECU is running in Limp mode and the revlimiter of the primary lobe is around 6-7K

What CEL and ECU are you using

i figured it out.. when i shake the wires in the back of my map sensor the car dies.. if i am reved up the car bounces around.. so it must be the car bouncing around there that pulls on the wires?? bad map sensor or the wires loose? or could it be a peice of the gasket blocking air flow to it?

get out a voltmeter and check for any shorts you might have
