Default Had to share, VSV N/A hondata tuning rocks.

Finally got the hondata on the N/A car and got it tuned Saturday at VSV in Carrolton Tx (DFW) by Stoney. Nothing but respect for these guys. Stoney, Felix, Vance, Thanks guys !!!!

92 Hatch
95 JDM B18C Stock internals
98 CTR head
Skunk2 Int. Manifold
Skunk2 Stage 1 cams
RC 310's
DC 4 into 1 header
Full legal exhaust!!
Hondata S200 (datalogging)

The car had previously been tuned at Jotech last October using a Vafc. Have been running consistant 12.70-12.80's BEFORE the tuning by VSV. Hope to have some new 1/4 times this weekend.

The car

The OLD dyno

The NEW dyno Notice the smoothing factor!!!

I went ahead and replotted the new and old graphs together since the Jotech graph used a weird scale. Pretty good increase in just going Hondata.

thats good. but you can get the smooth graph from your previous setup. it just takes time and good tuning..

Stock CX hatch, Dash, carpet, drivers seat, and door panels only. Stock JDM GSR trans with Stock LSD. 22" slicks on stock axles. I dont have a time slip here in front of me, I know a 12.72 @ 104-105mph, 1.72 60' Belive the 1/8th was a 8.1 I'll edit this later tonight with the full time slip. To date, before the VSV tuning, the car was runing consistand 12.70's-12.80's. Hoppe to get it to the track this weekend. Finlly got a real suspension on the car.

thanks to moore motorsports for hanging out.they've always known how to go big w/ so little.that thing's going to haul ***, as long as the axles hold out.maybe he should give flamenco -t a call before he hits up the track.vsv power is known to destroy stock axles.

You guys should hear how loud Vtec was. The fast food joint behind VSV was wondering what the hell they was Dyno tuning cause it was so loud. The best 60ft the car has put down was a 1.6.

Let us know what the car runs this weekend.

Woah man how much does your car weigh? 178 whp 130 tq and you get'n 12.77@104?! And that 1.7 60ft is just impressive...

What kind of slix did you use? What size? Race wheel type?

According to my calculations if you're making 179whp with 130tq then your car has to weigh about 2000 lbs with you to be able to pull off a 104mph run with that power...

The car has'nt been weighed. Stock CX with the rear interior pulled.

Have been using Lenso with 22x8.5x13 OLD wore out MT slicks. New Bogarts and new MH slicks should be here Friday.

Along with the Hondata and new tuning, we have changed the suspension form base line Tokico with cut Eibach's to Tanabe Sustic (sp?) pro.

Ahh a CX hehe... hmm then it'd probably weigh about 2050lbs or even 2000lbs as i stated including yourself if you took out the bak interior...

That's one beautiful time... 189hp now ey? mid 12s coming huh?
