Default 00-01gsr header on 95 gsr......... how do i make it fit?

Well i accidentally purchased a header that is supposedly only for the 00-01 gsr and i have a 95. I was wondering exactly what is different.

I also have a friend that is selling an exhaust system from an ls. Now if i used the 00-01 header and ls exhaust, i should have no fitment problems right? Any input would be sweet.........

you might have to do some welding b/c the header mounts in a diff spot under the 95 - but the header and ls pipes match so the answer is yes with some slight modification - if your already welding though you could shorten the b-pipe(cat) and keep your exaust if you want - theres an article on team-integra about the diffs

I think not sure that if you get the cat and catback for the 00-01 then it will all bolt up. Some one correct me if I am wrong please.

If your friend is also offering the LS cat along with the exhaust, then everything will bolt directly on to your car with no modifications.

If your friend is also offering the LS cat along with the exhaust, then everything will bolt directly on to your car with no modifications. If not, you'll need either an LS or '00-'01 GS-R cat to use with the LS cat-back in order for everything to bolt up.

I also forgot to mention in my other post that an ITR cat or exhaust will also work with that setup.
