Default speedo, tach, and temp needles dont move.

Hey i have a 96 integra and after i installed a cd player i noticed that these things will not work.

RPM Gauge (Tachometer)
Speedometer
Fuel Gauge
Oil Light

I have already used the search feature. and checked all the fuses under the dash and under the hood and all of them seem to be alright. Has anyone else ever had this problem? or does anyone know the exact fuse that controls these? Any advice would be great thanks.

Hmm. . . sounds like a short somewhere, does it light up?

BTW, the needles don't work on the indiglo gauges because they are not meant to be on there.

Yea, I don't even know where the fuse is for that, but check that out and check the wiring behind the face, make sure there are no shorts or loose wires.

yeah i looked for ever and couldnt find a blown fuse or anything, it all happened while i was putting a cd player in. i may just pull the cluster out and see if it shorted any of the wiring up in there.

You def have a short...I had a similar problem after installing my cd player. I had some exposed wires behind the cd player, and I had to tape them up...then I replaced the fuse for the lights/gauge cluster, and voila'. Good luck.
