OT: Girlfriend hates the R?

Has anyone had a girlfriend or an ex girlfriend that hated the R. I have had two and they would always say stupid things about it and say that they would do something to it. I don't think it's just an R that gets that. I think it's if she knows that you love something then she will get you that way. Wondering if it's just me.

Personally I drove in the R with the wife from Hartford, CT to Tennessee, to Atlanta and then to Miami and back to Hartford. After the first 3 hours my wife started to complain.
Sometimes you must compromise, but once your underway on a 3 thousand plus mile trip, ya gotta just suck it up.
She hasn't ridden in Any R I've owned since, and that's 3 years ago.

She hasn't ridden in Any R I've owned since, and that's 3 years ago.

My GF has an R and the weird thing is she is the second girl I have gone out with thats had one. The first one was white and hers is black.
Funny side story the first girl and I stopped seeing each other because I beat her in a race after she dumped $6000 in mods, hahaha. Then she sold it bought an IS300 and started building a dragrace crx witch I think cost her over 50k and I dont think she has even drove it to this day.

well its true. You can ask the guys at the chicago bbq we just had because she was there and I also meet her at the last expo. The other girls name was sarah and I saw her a while ago like back in 2000. I will get a pick of her race car next time shes online but this was her R

well,..my story is like this..
I went through all this **** Selling my 350Z(which was Pimp) and tryin to find the R I wanted and then when I got it,after mths of looking and stressin,@ First she said it drives like a tin can,.etc(Drive quality/comfort),.but did say it looked more "like me".
She then Bought me a set of JDM blk Recaros
She knows how much the R means to me,..even considering what I went from(that she thought was the "Bomb beat from Dre" to the R(which in my book was/is well worth it)
ALL in ALL she likes it,...wants to drive it every now and then

My girl loves the R, probably because she gets to drive it all the time. Only thing that bothers her is the interior noise, but she understands the trade-off.
If I had a USDM R my first mod would be the Recaro's so make sure you thank your girl again. US R seats are a joke, if you can't fit don't buy it.

Yep She was there, the only girl with a black R.. all of us were like whoa..thanks btw for the pasta salad jason.
Plus theres another girl in chicago that drives a black R also.. haven't gotten a chance to say yello yet..
