Yes it will work, and they're only a few cents at the dealer (some will include the washers if you buy a filter from them).

The Honda washer is specifically designed to "crush" slightly in order to form a better seal (hence the reason why it is recommended to replace the washer at each oil change). Most, if not all, of the washers one would find somewhere like Home Depot would be much harder, and thus wouldn't deform the way the OEM part does.

The dealership will most likely throw you 2-3 for free, they did for me atleast. It probably costs more for them to print out a receipt then to charge you for the washers.

most honda and acura crush washers are usually interchangable. I would start going to the dealer and if you get really desperate try going to to kwik lube or somthing of the nature.

Mine was 23 cents at the dealer. I only got charged for it once. Every other time I went, they gave it to me free with the filter.

You can find any Soft Alum. ring aslong as it has a 14mm hole. All Honda Oil plugs are 14mm ( thread size )

Actually Honda's crush washers are made of a special material that is made to be crushed once. I'll ask tomorrow at autozone but I am almost sure the one over here does not have them
