Default ANYONE drive a prelude with bw 6 to 9 psi?

I am thinking about turbocharging my lude but I hvae been told to be at only 6 to 9 psi of boost. If anyone is running that I have a question for you, can the stock injectors with maybe a piggyback computer flow enough fuel, perhaps with a bigger fuel pump only? what level is the injectors running at? I don't want the injectors to be running at 100% all the time as this might meana siezure adn boom of my engine...

so can stock injectors run enough fuel for 6 to 9 psi? anyone?

u can run it with stock injectors if u r keeping it under 9psi.. i m running mine with 7psi and on occasions i boost it up to 9psi with no detonation or any problems. u would have to get a bigger fuel pump and an fmu or something like so. ur stock pump will not be able to handle it at boost.

You can run up to 7 lbs. with the stock injectors. To fully boost at 8 lbs. you need at least a fuel pump. 9lbs. and a lil over u need the bigger injectors. I used to have problems before on my car because of the fuel cut due to the OBD. There is a way my mechanic bypassed it..buut i'm not really sure what he did ) . Also there is a device called the missing link which block any boost going through the oe sensor which should help u boost more. I have a 2000 Prelude soo this might not apply to ..lets say 97 or under maybe? The biggest problem i had was the fuel cut..but just inquire about it..and u should bypass it fine.

OH...btw...i dont have an fmax or a DRAG setup...it was all custom which is probably why i used to have the problems. I met a guy at an import showoff that had an f max kit on..and he said everything was fine and he boosted up to 14 lbs.? i'm not sure if it's true...but kool if bolt on kits do the job perfectly.
