Is B18C and B16C distributor interchangeable?
hi, i just want to know if B18C and B16A distributor are interchangeable? What about their inner module, such as ignition coil, are they the same? Thanks for any info, coz i really need it.

You can use any b series distributor. If your motor is obd2 and you have an obd1 distibutor it wont plug up unless you change the insides out, so its best if you have an obd2 motor to find an obd2 dist.
if you have a b18c , you either have a obd1 or obd2 motor...
a 94-5 b18c will fit a 92-5 b16a
i'm not sure on 96-01's interchangeability between years
(because theres obd2a and obd2b)
all b series vtec dizzy's are the same physical fit, just electronics and connectors differ from years
a ls dizzy will fit a vtec motor with a little modification.
hope that helps you out

I think they are of different obds, coz the connectors are not the same. The B16A got two connectors, whereas the B18C have only one that housed all the pin connections.

generally speaking all b-series parts should be interchangable. same goes for h series f series d series etc etc. thats why they were put in series. some parts might be slightly diffrent.
